Ruth Ann (Knudson) Jones

Ruth Ann (Knudson) Jones, 53, of Fort Wayne, died late Wednesday night, September 12, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital after an extended illness with cancer. She was born March 26, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late William A. and JoAnn (Downing) Knudson. A 1972 graduate of Northside High School in Fort Wayne, she attended Payne Church of the Nazarene.  She worked for 20 years at Duplex before working for Goshen Community Schools as a bookkeeper.  She collected bears and loved to sew, cook and bake. She is survived by a son, Jonathan E.C. Jones of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Arthur (Judith) Knudson of Fort Wayne and Thomas (Julie) Knudson of Auburn; a half brother, Kenneth (Helen) Priest of Seattle, Washington; and an adopted suster, Sandy LeMieux of Paulding, Ohio. Friends will be received 2 to 5 p.m.,Sunday, September 16, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2007, graveside service will be conducted in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn, Indiana.  Pastor Michael Harper of the Payne Church of the Nazarene, Payne, Ohio, will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Cancer Care, Goshen.
