Ruth I. Fry

Ruth I. Fry, 93, of Goshen, died Thursday, September 29, 2022, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.

She was born April 23, 1929, in Goshen to Joseph H. and Aimee M. (McCloskey) Lumm.

Survivors include a son, Kris Sorg of Goshen; a daughter, Joan (Stephen) Burns of Millersburg; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Sorg of Indianapolis; step-children, Donald Replogle of Elkhart, James Replogle of South Bend and Cathy Replogle of Goshen; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Fry; a son, Kirk Sorg; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Sorg; and a brother, Joe Lumm.

Mrs. Fry was a member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen. She was a loving homemaker and avid sports watcher. Ruth especially treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2022. from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
