Ruth F. Coggan

Ruth F. Coggan, 84, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, December 20, 2008, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. She was born on May 9, 1924, in Winnepeg, Canada, to Richard W. and Lelia (Kauffman) Fidler.  She married Albert F. Coggan on May 31, 1946 in Goshen.  He died August 10, 1987. A homemaker, Mrs. Coggan was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Goshen. A Goshen resident since 1934, she is survived by two sons, Sean F. (Cathy) Coggan of Zionsville, Indiana, and Andrew R. (Angie) Coggan of Ballwin, Missouri; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; and five brothers, Herbert, John, Franklin, Donald and Joseph Fidler. The body will be cremated and private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, Goshen.
