Rusty E. Edwards

Rusty E. Edwards, 53, of Millersburg, died unexpectedly at his home, Friday, October 14, 2022, of natural causes.

He was born September 13, 1969 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl (Edwards) Eash of Goshen; four children, Laramie (Tyler) James of Mishawaka, Noah Edwards of Goshen, Serena Edwards of Elkhart, and Solomon Edwards of Nappanee; a granddaughter, Charlotte James; and siblings, Chad Eash and Dawn Deal, both of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jamin Deal.

Rusty was a 1988 graduate of Goshen High School. A member of Grace Community Church the past 14 years, Rusty was always interested in helping others, his personal slogan was, be Jesus’.

His work mimicked his interest in helping others, first working as a counselor at Oaklawn, and more recently as a chaplain at Bashor Children’s Home. He enjoyed photography, especially during the autumn, with orange being his favorite color.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Grace Community Church, Goshen. A 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 21, 2022 at the church. Rev. Jim Brown will officiate.

Private burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier.
