Ruby Hazel Rink

Ruby Hazel Rink, 92, of Millersburg, died Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 17, 1932 in Elkhart County to Charles W. and Edith (Miller) Clark.

On September 3, 1950 she married Fred Rink, Jr. at Solomon Creek Church. They were married for 70 years. He died December 9, 2020.

She is survived by three children, Debbie (James) George, Wakarusa, Michael (Janell) Rink and Robert (Anita) Rink, both of Goshen; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law, Norbert Korty, Lafayette

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca M. Korty.

A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Rink worked as an education assistant for New Paris Elementary School. She was a member of Zion Community Church where she taught Sunday School and was in the choir. She enjoyed quilting and gardening in her one-acre garden. She was active in the Clinton Township Board and the BeY’s Homemaker Club.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:30 until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service at Zion Community Church. Pastor Jeff Lewis will officiate.

Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Zion Community Church.
