Ruby O. Ramer

Goshen – Ruby O. Ramer, 95, of Goshen died Friday, October 9, 2026 at Greencroft Healthcare, Knoll unit.

She was born Feb. 5, 1931 in LaGrange County to David M. Bontrager and Sarah (Yoder) Bontrager.

On September 3, 1983 she married Manford R. Ramer. He died November 25, 1999.

She is survived by five sons, David E. (Joelcenia) Bontrager, Goshen, Myron D. (Antoinette) Bontrager, Goshen, Lyle D. Bontrager, in Europe, J. Eric Roberts (Shelly) Phoenix, AZ and Wayne (Lucia) Roberts, South Bend;12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Eash, LaGrange.

Mrs. Ramer was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting and making her own greeting cards. She enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through handwritten letters and encouragements. She always had a kind word and was very friendly towards others.

Ruby enjoyed gardening and the simple things in life she learned to appreciate growing up on the family farm.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home from 10 a.m.until the 12 p.m. funeral service.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
