Ruby Nussbaum, 92, of Goshen died Sunday afternoon, July 9, 2023 at Greencroft Healthcare from a stroke.
She was born April 23, 1931, in LaGrange County, Indiana, to Noah and Mary (Christner) Glick.
On August 30, 1953, she married Nathan Nussbaum (from Kidron, Ohio) at Emma Mennonite Church.
Five of her six children survive her: Ethan (Carol) Nussbaum of Lexington, South Carolina; Rebecca (Don) Rohrer of Elkhart; Jonathan (Becky) Nussbaum of Union, Michigan; David Nussbaum of Goshen; and Rachel (Rick) Eby of Goshen; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Vi Farmwald of Wolcottville; and three brothers, Harvey (Jean) Glick of LaGrange, Gary Glick of Shipshewana and Walter (Becky) Glick of LaGrange.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2016; her son Evan in 2022, her parents; one sister, Maggie Glick; and two brothers, Virgil and Stanley Glick.
Ruby was a full-time homemaker most of her life and was a member of North Goshen Mennonite Church.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
Memorial service will be Saturday, July 15, 11 a.m., at North Goshen Mennonite Church, 510 N. Eighth St., Goshen. Izaete Nafzinger and granddaughter Sarah Schlegel will officiate. Private burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
