Ruby F. Hostetler, 101, of Goshen, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born July 16, 1915 near Middlebury to Orla and Anna (Coffman) Kalb.
Her father died when she was six months old and her mother died when she was six years old. Ruby was raised by her maternal grandparents, Daniel and Sarah Coffman.
On April 14, 1934 she married Clifford E. Hostetler in Topeka. He died August 20, 2008.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Jim) Friesen of Westminster, South Carolina; a son, Clair (Naomi) Hostetler of Goshen; three grandchildren, Craig (Carol) Stephens of Peachtree City, Georgia, Michelle (Tom) Stroup of Millersburg and Chris (Tracey) Hostetler of Johnston, Iowa; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a half sister, Vesta Stroman.
Clifford and Ruby were lifelong farmers in the New Paris area and members of Waterford Mennonite Church.
A Monday, May 1, 2017 graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m., at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorial contributions may be given to Waterford Mennonite Church.
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
