Roy L. Brinkley, 88, of Goshen, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 18, 1927 in Coffee County, Tullahoma, Tennessee to Charles and Ethel (Kelley) Brinkley.
He married Patsy Patterson in September 1978 in Elkhart.
She survives along with Roy’s daughter, Carmen Starr Brinkley Vandemark of Elkhart; two grandsons, Shannon and Shawn Vandemark; and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, Nancy "Naomi" Todd.
A truck driver, Mr. Brinkley retired in 1992 from Foam Ex and in December 2012 from Penske at the age of 85.
Friends may call Monday, February1, 2016, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
