Rosetta Catherine Seay

Rosetta C. Seay, 87, of Goshen, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday, June 4, 2016, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

She was born November 14, 1928 in Ligonier to Carey H. and Viola Jeffries.

On July 9, 1962 she married Clifford Seay in Clintwood, Virginia.  He died July 4, 1990.

She is survived by a son, Troy (Patti) Seay of Goshen; a daughter, Sandra Taylor of Indianapolis and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, John Lewis and Carey Jeffries, Jr.; and two sisters, Mildred Hawk and Edith Poag.

A graduate of Ligonier High School, Mrs. Seay owned and operated, along with her husband, the Riverview Café, Goshen.  She also worked at Goshen Proof Company.

She enjoyed reading and playing solitaire.

Friends may call Thursday, June 9, two hours prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.

Burial will be in Hire Cemetery.
