Rosetta Martin, 89, of Goshen passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
She was born May 17, 1935 in Middlebury to Benjamin and Nancy (Roth) Riegsecker.
On May 11, 1957 she married Eugene M. Martin in Middlebury. He died June 20, 2010.
Survivors include three children, Rosalyn (Lavern) Cross of Middlebury, Rhonda (Smith) Noel of Narvon, Pennsylvania, and Jeff (Bonnie) Martin of Hicksville, Ohio; a daughter in law, Teresa Martin-Gay of Silver Lake; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Marie Riegsecker of Goshen, Wilma (Ivan) Leichty of Ligonier, and Herman (Ida) Riegsecker of Middlebury.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Martin and a sister, Lorene Riegsecker.
Mrs. Martin was currently attending Living Water Mennonite Church. A loving homemaker, she and her husband, Eugene, worked together on their dairy farm for 30 years near Goshen and then moved to the Silver Lake area in 1998, where they continued farming. They retired in Goshen in 2008.
Rosetta enjoyed gardening in her flower beds, crocheting projects, and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Living Water Mennonite Church, 2815 Dierdorff Rd., Goshen, followed by 5 p.m. funeral service.
Burial will be Monday, June 10, at 9:30 a.m. at Griner Cemetery, Middlebury.
