Rosemary Stoner, 90, of Elkhart died Sunday afternoon, May 24, 2015 at Riverside Village. She was born July 14, 1924 in Bristol to Charles F. and Eva (King) Berkey. On November 15, 1942 she married Charles William Stoner in Vistula. He survives along with three daughters, Christie (Keith) Rogers of Brasstown, North Carolina, Shelly Stoner of Lawton, Michigan and Janel (David) Thomas of Goshen; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Viola Bloomingdale of Elkhart; and a daughter-in-law, Lou Ann Stoner of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Stoner, two sisters, Vera Swihart and Elma Sommers, and two brothers Leslie and Paul Berkey. A lifelong area resident, Rosemary was an antique dealer who enjoyed flea markets, quilting, and was an excellent cook and baker. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Friday, May 29, 2015 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Rev. Steven Swihart will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given the charity of your choice.
