Rosemary L. Reschly

Rosemary L. Reschly, 66, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 10, 2015, at her home after battling cancer since 2006. She was born in Goshen on December 1, 1948 to Ralph and Mary (Bollinger) Blough. On November 10, 1973 she married Rodney Reschly. He survives along with two sons, Samuel (Jeanna) Reschly of Goshen and Michael (Kathy) Reschly of Boulder, Colorado; four grandchildren, Brock and Alex Reschly of Goshen and Jonah and Zoe Reschly of Boulder, Colorado; and two brothers, Randall L. (Linda) Blough of Eaton, Ohio and Reggie L. (Lonnie Haley) Blough of Cape Coral, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents. A lifetime area resident, Rosemary was a member of Sunnyside Mennonite Church, Elkhart and a 1967 graduate of Goshen High School. She worked as an executive assistant at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary from 1988 until her retirement in 2011. She had also worked at Oaklawn from 1969 to 1977. Friends may call Sunday, June 14, 2015, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015, starting at 11 a.m. at Sunnyside Mennonite Church. Pastors Terry Zehr and Melissa Fisher Fast will officiate. Cremation at Yoder-Culp Crematory will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Center for Hospice Care or Sunnyside Mennonite Church.
