Rosemary C. Lantz, 88, of Goshen, died Wednesday morning, July 4, 2007, at Elkhart General Hospital. She had been ill since Friday. She was born in Goshen on October 23, 1918, to Alfred Frederick Beech and Louise Elizabeth (Alexander) Martin. She married Wayne S. Lantz on July 4, 1937, at the Goshen City Church of the Brethren parsonage. Rev. T. E. George performed the marriage ceremony. A lifelong resident of the Millersburg and Goshen area, Mrs. Lantz was a member of the People’s Bible Church, founding member of the P & G Club, and a member of the Elkhart County Chorus. She graduated from Goshen High School in 1936. She volunteered at Greencroft and Goshen General Hospital. Mrs. Lantz worked as a manager at Mini Storage Depot in Goshen, retiring in 1996. She had also worked at Jean Lee Originals. She is survived by a son, Kerry W. Lantz of Millersburg; two daughters, Lynda (Will) Miller of Goshen and Sheryle (John) Miller of Bristol; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; four sisters, and five brothers. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 6, at the funeral home. A 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2007, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. John Randolph of the People’s Bible Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Run Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Galilean Children’s Home in Liberty, Kentucky, or Greencroft Foundation.
