Rose-Marie Johanna Lange, 63, of Nokomis, Florida, and formerly of Syracuse, Indiana, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Tidewell Hospice House, Venice, after a four year battle with cancer.  She was born June 10, 1946 in Berlin, Germany, to the late Erich and Johanna (Mueller) Rothbart.  She married Eugene G. Lange on June 10, 1966 in Berlin.  He survives. A longtime resident of the area and a massage therapist, Mrs. Lange moved to Venice Florida in 2005.  She was a member of the Bethany Church of the Brethren in New Paris, Indiana, and the Venice Community Church of the Brethren in Florida; and the American Massage Therapy Association. She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Kristina (Criss) Edwards of Chicago, Illinois, Monica (Daniel) Smith of Fishers, Indiana, and Erika (Jeffrey) Hummel of Fortville, Indiana; six grandchildren; and a sister, Marlis (Kurt) Sohn of Berlin, Germany. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 7th, from 1-4 p.m., at the Bethany Church of the Brethren, 19003 US 6, New Paris, Indiana where a memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Tim Sollenberger Morphew will officiate.
