Ronnie Gene Stubblefield, 62, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital after a short illness. He was born January 2, 1951 in Wilson, Arkansas, to Paul Stubblefield and Myrtle (Whitaker) Sartain of Osceola, Arkansas. He married Barbara Krallman April 12, 1974. She survives along with a son, Chris Stubblefield and a daughter, Carol Krallman, both of Goshen; three grandchildren, Halie and Keegan Miller and Gaven Stubblefield; his step-mother, Dorothy Stubblefield of Hazel Green, Alabama; two sisters, Linda (Kerry) Edwards of Victoria, Arkansas, and Shana Upton of Hazel Green, Alabama; two step-sisters, Vicki Naylor of Elkhart and Jenny (Steve) Rice of Warsaw; and a step-brother, Gene Steele of Ligonier. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Paul "Tooter" Stubblefield; and step-father, Mark Sartain. An artist, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid gun and knife collector. Friends may call on Monday, April 1, 2013, from 9 until the 11 a.m., Celebration of Life service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, care of Yoder-Culp, to help with funeral expenses.
