Ron Stork, 85, of Goshen, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Maples of Waterford Crossing.
He was born February 21, 1936 in Elkhart to John and Edith Kirchner Stork. He married Janice A. Dickie June 14, 1958 in Markle, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife and daughter, Tammy (Keith) Denlinger of Warsaw and son, Todd (Lori) of Goshen. Four grandchildren, Lindsay Stork, Andrew (Eleanor) Denlinger, Lucas (Michaela)Denlinger and Ryan (Becca) Stork. Five great-grandchildren, Easton and Jenessa Stork, Everest Denlinger and Lillian and Victor Denlinger.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Stork.
Ron was a graduate of Elkhart High School in 1954. The highlight of his senior year was being on the basketball team which played in the Final Four tourney.
He graduated from Manchester College in 1958 and began his teaching career at Adams Central High School in Monroe. After two years there, he accepted a teaching and coaching position at West Side Middle School in Elkhart, where he taught Science, P.E., and Health. He enjoyed this school's students and staff for 37 years. He retired in June 1995.
In retirement, he continued going fishing as often as possible and volunteering on healthcare campuses. His greatest joy was being with his family that he loved so dearly. He and Janice eventually moved to a condo at Waterford Crossing in Goshen.

Visitation will be Friday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Memorial Service will follow at noon with Dr. Kent Denlinger officiating.
Interment, at a later date, will be at Rockford Friends Cemetery, Rockford, Wells County, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be given to Traditions Hospice and Trilogy Health Services Foundation.
