Ronald L. Stephens

Ronald L. Stephens, 58, of Angola, died of natural causes Sunday, September 25, 2016 at his home.

He was born February 13, 1958 in LaPorte to Mary (Tamlin) Stephens.

Survivors include his mother, Mary of Goshen; biological father, Clifford Gibson of California; three daughters, Veronica Stephens of Milford, Sharon Harris of Syracuse and Georgina Stephens of Middlebury; former wife, Sharon Stephens of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three sisters, Roxanne Buzzard of Angola, Rebecca (Dana) Stanley of Topeka and Robin Yoder of Shipshewana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Stephens; brothers, Randy Gibson and Roger Stephens; and a sister, Kimberly Gibson.

Ron served in the United States Marine Corps and was a truck driver for XP Expedition, Marion.  He was a member of the Goshen DAV, Elkhart Eagles and American Legion Post #31, Angola.

Visitation will begin Saturday, October 1, 2016 at noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service, with military honors, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Cremation will take place after the service with burial in West Goshen Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial gifts may be directed to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
