Ronald “Ron” Ray Miller, 70, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Majestic Care.
He was born August 15, 1951, in Goshen to Harvey E. and Mattie (Miller) Miller.
On June 24, 1989, he married Debbie Voorhees in Goshen.
She survives along with four children, Nikki (Gary) Wittmer of Middlebury, Justin (Jessica) Miller and Shelby (Gary Kincaid) Grimm, both of Goshen, and Ian Glasson of Chicago; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a brother, Jerry (Phyllis) Miller of Sarasota, Florida.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laverta Miller.
A 1969 graduate of Jefferson High School, Ron owned and operated several local restaurants, including Plain & Fancy, The Courthouse Pub, Soup & Salad and The Cake Shoppe.
A family man, Ron enjoyed mushroom hunting, camping, painting and tinkering with inventions.
Visitation will be Monday, June 6, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, June 7, from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Miller 8 Square Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses or American Heart Association or Elkhart County Humane Society.
