Ron Oldenburg's Funeral Live

Ronald Lee Oldenburg, 66, of Goshen, died Friday, December 30, 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina.

He was born February 16, 1956 in Three Rivers, Michigan to William Lewis and Margaret Grace (Schuler) Oldenburg.

On February 28, 1975 he married Vickie Drake in White Pigeon, Michigan.

She survives along with two children, Shane (Krista) Oldenburg of Manassas, Virginia and Heather Oldenburg Dismuke of Charleston, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Nolynn Grace and Jule Dismuke, and Riley, Eli and Reagan Oldenburg; and a brother, Robert (Lois) Oldenburg of Pelzer, South Carolina.

Ronald’s working career included 31 years at Johnson Controls, Goshen and then 13 years at Conn Selmer, Elkhart.  He retired to enjoy time with his children, grandchildren and wife. He was an avid golfer and member of Black Squirrel Golf Club.  He was very much an outdoorsman.

Ronald was a beloved member of Jefferson Community Church and was very connected to his Sunday School class.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Friday, January 6, 2023, from 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral service, all at Jefferson Community Church. Pastor Ken Hunn will officiate.

Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
