Ronald D. Good, 70, of Goshen, died Saturday evening, September 3, 2011, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born March 27, 1941 in Goshen to the late Jacob and Blanche (Sharp) Good. On June 22, 1963 he married Sandra K. Grove. She survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Andraya (Dennis) Jeffery, Goshen; three sons, Gregory (Carmen) Good, New Paris, Michael (Robin) Good, Millville, New Jersey; and Timothy (Dawn) Good, Pennsville, New Jersey; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson expected in late November; and his pet lab, Daisy. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leland and Samuel Good. Mr. Good was a resident of Constantine, Michigan from 1965 -1980, and New Jersey from 1980 -1992, before returning to Goshen. Mr. Good worked in the RV industry and was self employed, making truck caps and campers, retiring in 2006. Most recently, 2006-2011, he enjoyed driving the Amish. A 1959 Jefferson High School graduate, he attended Porter College, Indianapolis. He was a member of Bethany Church of the Brethren, New Paris. Prior to his current church membership, he belonged to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Elkhart. He enjoyed Horseshoe Pitching and was a member of the Michiana Horseshoe League, Elkhart. He participated in State, World and area league tournaments. He also enjoyed fishing, sports and family. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2011, funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Sollenberger Morphew, Bethany Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial will follow at Baintertown Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or Center for Cancer Care, Goshen.
