Ronald Lee Goetz, 75, of Goshen died Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Goshen Hospital on Hospice.

He was born October 9, 1950, in Elkhart to Virgil R. and Bertha C. (Burkholder) Goetz.

On February 2, 1974, he married Patricia M. Loy in Goshen.

She survives along with two daughters, Jennifer (James) Brosius of Goshen, and Lisa (Darin) Hathaway of Elkhart; grandchildren, Jarrett and Reed Frecker; and a brother, Dale Goetz of Goshen and a sister, Joanne (Bruce) Sharick of Green Bay, Wisconsin; a brother-in-law, Steve (Mary) Loy of Shipshewana; and many nieces and nephews.

A member of Faith Lutheran Church, Ron worked for Fidler as a ready-mix concrete driver.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was skilled in construction work. A family man, he enjoyed woodworking and watching I.U. sports.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the 11:30 a.m. funeral service on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, 202 South Greene Road, Goshen. Pastor Jessica King will officiate. A live-stream link will be posted on the Yoder-Culp and Faith Lutheran websites.

Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
