Goshen-Ronald G. Clark, 68, of Union, Mich., died Saturday at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1943 in Elkhart to the late George and Cleo (Spake) Clark. He married Darlene Bemiller Nov. 28, 1964 in Elkhart. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Cami (Randy) Berkey, Goshen, and Cari (David) Genier, Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Nichole and Dustin Chowning, Rebecca Berkey and Elizabeth and Abagail Genier; and a brother, Richard (Sue) Clark, Osceola. Also surviving are his in-laws, Louis and Jeanette Bemiller, Indianapolis; a sister-in-law, Jenny (Tom) Blackman, Indianapolis; two nieces, Michele Bogart and Lindsey Blackman; two nephews, Brent Clark and Greg Blackman; and two business partners, Dave Buck and Dick Leatherman. A 1961 graduate of Penn High School, he also graduated from Indiana University, Orange County College; University of Wisconsin, and Notre Dame Business School. An entrepreneur, Mr. Clark owned and operated BD Custom Manufacturing, Clark Properties, and Troyer Products, after working 25 years at Miles Laboratory, where he was a member of the "Friday Club". He was involved in trotting breed horse racing for 10 years in Elkhart County. He was involved in the leadership of Ridgeberry Church and St. John's UCC. In Ariz. he was involved in the Safari Club, a 4WD group, riding in both the desert and the mountains. In Calif. he served as president of the Boys Club and on the board of the Park and Recreation. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in many different locations, including Alaska, Mexico and Canada. There will be no visitation. Honoring Ronald's wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Dollars for Scholars, Middlebury or Casa de Esperanza, Green Valley, Ariz.
