Ronald H. Brooks

Ronald H. Brooks, 90 of Goshen died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.

He was born September 7, 1927 in Peoria, Illinois to Harold A. and Mae (Hiestand) Brooks.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer (Ron) McDaniel of Fort Wayne and Erika (James) Miller of Elkhart; a son, Jonathan Brooks of California; four grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn (Donald) Blosser of Goshen; and former wife, Jacqueline Druley of Elkhart.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Allen Brooks.

Mr. Brooks served as a radio operator for the U.S. Army during WW II, from 1946 to 1949.  He was employed at Cape Canaveral, Florida. He then worked for the city of Glendale, Arizona as a welder prior to his retirement and relocating to Elkhart County.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen.  There will be no services.
