Ronald Eugene Allen, 76, of Goshen,  passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at home.

He was born February 5, 1947 in Logansport to Max E. and Mary M. (Downham) Allen.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Christine (Kevin) Sanders of Clive, Iowa; a sister, Deb (Bobby) Toon of Royal Center; a step-brother, Johnny English; a niece, Angela (Vincent) Dewberry of Grovetown, Georgia and former wife, Jane Allen of Union, Michigan.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife Christine Allen.

After graduating from Logansport High School, Ron entered the United States Air Force and received his honorable discharge on January 3,1969.  He was a member of Goshen Christian Church.  He enjoyed all sports, especially biking, tennis and jogging.  He volunteered at Loveway and attended NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) shows.

He worked as a payroll accountant with ADEC for more than 20 years and more recently was working at the Elkhart County Humane Society.

Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Celebration of Life service at Goshen Christian Church, 2133 Berkey Ave.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.  No burial is planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Goshen Christian Church, Elkhart County Humane Society or Loveway Inc.
