Roger Lee York

Roger Lee York, 60, of Goshen, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center where he had been since Thursday. He was born December 12, 1953 in Goshen to Roy and Cleo (Bloss) York. On August 13, 1983 he married Darlene Schrock. She survives along with his mother, Cleo York, Goshen and a brother, Gary York, Elkhart; and his dog and baby "Abby". He was preceded in death by his father. A 1972 graduate of Goshen High School, Roger was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Goshen, and the Warsaw "N Scale" model train club. He enjoyed bowling. He was employed by Goshen Community Schools as a driver. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11 a.m., Thursday funeral at First English Lutheran Church. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be given to First English Lutheran Church.
