Roger L. Woods

Roger L. Woods, 74, of Goshen, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

He was born February 9, 1948 at Spencer, Indiana to Henry Clay and Eva (Cummings) Woods.

He married Cynthia A. Covington on December 6, 1986 in Elkhart.

She survives along with a son, Roger (Samantha) Woods and three sisters, Mary Parker of Mishawaka, Sylvia (Jeff) Cooke of Virginia and Judy Knepp of Indianapolis.

Roger was preceded in death by seven siblings, Stanton Woods, Shirley Moorehouse, Thomas Woods, James Woods, Mildred Scott, Thelma Dylewski and Michael Woods.

He worked as a forklift operator for Syndicate Systems in Middlebury, where he retired. Roger received the Purple Heart and Combat Bronze Star for his services in Vietnam while he served in the Army.

A private family celebration of life service will take place at a later date.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
