Roger D. Briscoe

Roger D. Briscoe, 63, of Elkhart, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at IU Health Goshen Hospital after a six month battle with a brain tumor. He was born February 1, 1951 in Modesto, California, to William F. Briscoe and Ella (Garza) Guzman. Surviving are five children; Cassandra Briscoe, of Houston, Texas, Roger F. (Debbie) Briscoe, Steven Briscoe, both of Goshen, Crystal (Brandon) Munson, of Syracuse, and Christopher Briscoe, of Elkhart; and five grandchildren. Roger was a graduate of the University of Texas Pan American, who worked as social worker and truck driver. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends and family will gather and share memories from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Cremation will take place after the services.
