Roger D. Batts

I was born on July 1, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia to Clark M. Batts and Irma M. Hobgood and I left this world to be with God on April 12, 2020.

I married my wonderful wife (she made me say that), Judy C. Bookout.

I had four brothers, Rick D. Batts (Ruth).  Judy and I had four children, Debra Miller (Charles), Donnie Batts (Beth) and Rodney Batts (Caralea).  I was blessed with seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

I was preceded in death by my parents, my brothers, Michael, Edward and David and my son, Roger D. Batts, Jr.

I was a self-employed siding applicator and was never so happy to retire.  I also loved woodworking, building bird houses and yelling at the TV (you know who you are).  I have to go now, I have to go build a house in heaven for my wife.  Say bye!
