Rodolfo Lopez Blanco, Jr.

Rodolfo “Rudy” Lopez Blanco, Jr., 69, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born May 20, 1955 in San Miguel De Camargo, Mexico, to Inocencia Lopez and Rodolfo Blanco, Sr.

Rudy is survived by his daughters Maria (Patrick) Schneider, Goshen, and Julissa (David Knight) Blanco, Goshen; girlfriend of 38 years Thressa Green, Goshen; Thressa’s 2 sons, Mark Green, Goshen, Kendall Green, Mishawaka; 6 grandchildren, Benjamin, Cameron, Chelsea, Jozef, Jacob, and Jazmen; 1 great-grandchild, Sinai Blanco; ex-wife Eva Blanco; siblings Maria (Ruben) Quintero, Rosa (Lupano) Romero, Luce Moreno, Jane (Corey) Rodriguez, Eddie and Lalo Blanco, all of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Alicia Perez and Leticia Torres.

Rudy worked at Western Rubber for twenty years and Lionshead for 5 years, and then retired in 2019. Rudy was a long-time member of the Goshen Moose Lodge, Goshen Eagles, and the Goshen DAV. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his grandkids, family, and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 3, from 2-5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. According to his wishes, Rudy will be cremated at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Following visitation, there will be a dinner at the Goshen DAV #15 (708 W. Pike Street, Goshen, IN 46526).
