Rodney A. Solina, 67, of Goshen, died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Greencroft Healthcare.
He was born April 13, 1953 in St. Albans, West Virginia to B.H. and Margaret (Chapman) Solina.
On December 20, 2008 he married Monica Garber in Goshen.
She survives along with his sons, Andrew Solina of Pendleton, Oregon and Tony (Constance) Solina of Pass Christian, Mississippi; five grandchildren; and a sister, Lisa (David) Hampton of Goshen.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Solina.
A 1971 Fairfield High School graduate, Rodney was active in basketball, football and golf. He worked in the local R.V. Industry and after retirement continued work at Rise’n Roll Bakery making deliveries.
Rod was an avid golfer at Maxwelton Golf Club, Syracuse and staunch Notre Dame fan. He was known for his great sense of humor.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 2-5 p.m., at 14282 C.R. 44, Millersburg. Sharing of stories will begin at 3. Light refreshments and beverages will be served and the family recommends you bring lawn chairs.
