Rodney Scott Kiser, 41, of Elkhart, died early Friday morning, August 19, 2011, at South Bend Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Goshen on December 28, 1969 to the late Richard Kiser and Pamela (Waugaman) Eggers of Elkhart. He is survived by two sisters, Stacey (Eldon Ralstin) Hayes of Milford and Nikki Capps of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his fiancé, Tina Cook of Elkhart; a nephew and two nieces. A lifetime area resident, Mr. Kiser was a fabrication engineer and owner of Welding Rod's. He was a member of the American Legion, Bristol; a Harley-Davidson enthusiast; a racing fan; and an avid pool player. Friends may call 1-3 and 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 6:00 p.m., funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Dave Davidsen from Bikers at The Crossing will officiate. Rodney will live on in the lives of others via his donation of organs and tissue. Cremation will follow the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children or to the donor's choice.
