Rodger M. Hunsberger, 77, of Goshen, died at his home Saturday, June 16, 2018, after an extended illness.
He was born September 30, 1940 in Lakeville to Richard and Melba (Good) Hunsberger.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela (Bowman) Hunsberger of Goshen; daughter, Suzette (Brian) Pletcher of Osceola; step-children, Rodney (Lynn) Bowman of Middlebury and Stephanie Mullins of New Paris; six grandchildren, Austin (Kaitlin) Pletcher and Alex Pletcher, Alexandria and Collin Mullins, and Craig and Trevor Bowman; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Flemming and James Pletcher; and three brothers, Norman (Eunice) Hunsberger of Milford, Bruce (Vickie) Hunsberger of Nappanee and Keith (Jane) Hunsberger of Milford.
He was preceded in death by his first two wives, Mary Thomas and Lois Dowty.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Rodger worked in human resources at Liberty Homes before retiring after 41 years.
He was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church, Gideon’s International, Elkhart County 4-H Fair Shooting Sports and Goshen VFW Honor Guard.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, funeral service will be conducted. Pastors Norm Reimer and Jason Brody will officiate.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Elkhart County 4-H Fair Shooting Sports.
