Roberta Lantz, 95, of Goshen, died early Monday morning, June 30, 2008, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been a resident for a year. She was born October 25, 1912, in LaGrange County, Indiana, to Rolin and Nellie (Bontrager) Bontrager. She married Paul Leroy Lantz on March 6, 1931 in South Bend. He preceded her on October 31, 2003. A homemaker, businesswoman and pastor’s wife, Mrs. Lantz was a member of Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Miller of Goshen; two sons, Robert (Gloria) Lantz of New Paris and Ray (Fyrne) Lantz of Middlebury; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a foster sister, Betty (Bill) Hite of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; a sister, Thelma Yoder; and a brother, Orvan Bontrager. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen. A 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008, memorial service will be conducted at the church. Pastor Terry Diener of the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church will officiate. A private burial will occur prior to the memorial service in Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
