Robert E. Yarger, II, 44, of Millersburg, died Friday morning, September 26, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital. He was born on June 22, 1964 in Washington Court House, Ohio, to Robert and Lola (Cottrell) Yarger, I. He married Sheila Groulx in Pinconning, Michigan, on May 16, 1987. She survives. A deputy sheriff with the Elkhart County Sheriff Department, Mr. Yarger had lived in the area for 19 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen, and Millersburg American Legion #484. He served in the Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; two sons, Jared and Zachary; a daughter, Shaina Yarger; and a sister Yvette Shirkey and her fiancé, Joe Thibault of Columbia, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, September 29, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. A Rosary service will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home. The funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen. Father Christopher Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Trust Fund for the Children. Checks should be made to the Robert E.
