Robert M. Weaver

Robert Michael Weaver, 75, of Goshen, passed away quietly on February 2nd after several years of managing complications with his heart.

Robert was born on November 8th, 1948 to Harold and Rose Marie “Rody” (Goodell) Weaver in Goshen.  After Robert graduated from Goshen High School in 1966, he went on to study data processing at Ferris State University in Michigan.

Robert had many names:

He was known as Robert to his wife, Pamela Jean (Bowser), whom he married on June 24, 1972 in Rockford, Michigan.

He was Bob to his coworkers in the banking and data processing industry.

He was Mike to his brothers and sisters, David (Patricia) Weaver of Hampshire, Illinois, Elaine (Thomas) Evans of Plainfield, Anne (Ronald) Mullet of Goshen, and Gregory (Bay Sengsommaly) Weaver of South Bend.

He was Dad to his twin sons, Jeffrey (Lisa) of Goshen and Jason (Laurie) of Noblesville.

He was Bob and Pap Pap to his grandchildren Kelsey (Clayton) Norris and Nolan and Colton Weaver; and he was Great Grandpa to his two great grandchildren Xander and Oslo Norris.

His passing, while anticipated, was earlier than expected and leaves all of those who knew and loved him with a broken heart.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 9 at Yoder Culp Funeral Home, beginning at 10 a.m.

Family and friends are encouraged to join us at Robert and Pam's home following the service.  A lunch will be provided.
