Robert Eugene Shank

Robert Eugene Shank, 94, of Goshen, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at home.

He was born May 19, 1923 in Albany to Clarence and Elizabeth (Albert) Shank.

On June 15, 1974 he married Tillie Anderson.  She survives.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings, Grace Riddle, Alvin Shank, Flora Entrekin, Maye Walsh and George, Frank and Elmer Shank.

A tool and die worker, Mr. Shank learned to fly and was a pilot for five years.  He enjoyed driving in the country to a different restaurant for breakfast six days a week.  After breakfast he and Tillie would walk outside for almost an hour.

He enjoyed listening to music and traveling to Venice, Florida for three weeks in December.

There will be no services.  Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and the cremated remains will be scattered in the Memorial Garden at College Mennonite Church where he attended.
