Robert Lee Rogers, 67, of Goshen, died at his home Wednesday evening, April 19, 2006. He was born November 11, 1938, in Eskdale, West Virginia, to Homer and Lula (Stevens) Rogers. On September 10, 1967, he married Marrietta Wood in Alexandria, Indiana. She died March 28, 2002. A Goshen resident since 1967, Mr. Rogers was a welder, last working for Goshen Cushion. He was a member of the Prairie View Missionary Church and a former member of the Goshen Moose. He is survived by two step-daughters, Sherry (David) Vice and Peggy (Lloyd) Hoover, both of Goshen; five step-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary L. Smith of Charleston, West Virginia, Jody Fecher and Brenda Rogers, both of Goshen, and Lillian “Lee” (David) Richards of Dayton, Ohio; and two brothers, William Rogers of Goshen, and Leonard Rodney (Sharon) Rogers of Marion, Indiana. Friends may call 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 22, at the funeral home. An 11:00 a.m. service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, 2006. Pastor John Albert of the Prairie View Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Care at Home Hospice.
