Robert Ralph Rich

Robert R. Rich, 68, of Goshen, died Thursday, October 20, 2011, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born in Elkhart February 16, 1943, to the late Cecil and Virgie (Whitt) Rich. He married Connie Berkey on March 22, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives. Also surviving are five children, Robert (Karen) Rich of Warsaw, Chriss (Kevin) Daniels of New Castle, Washington, Dawn Burke of Goshen, Bart (Kim) Rich of Elkhart and Brett (Mike Moles) Rich of Knoxville, Tennessee; two step-children, Rick (Stacy) Ulery of Goshen and Heidi (Nick Hausbach) Moore of Wolcottville; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl (Marilyn) Rich of South Bend. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Yoder and Donna Beck. A 1961 graduate of Concord High School, Mr. Rich was a member of Goshen Moose #836 and Goshen DAV #15. He retired in 2008 as maintenance supervisor of the Goshen Waste Water Plant. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011,at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Cremation will follow visitation and there will be no further services. Memorials, in lieu, of flowers, may be given to American Cancer Society.
