Robert D. Moser

Robert D. Moser, 93, of Goshen passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at Waterford Crossing Health Campus.

He was born September 8, 1931 at home in Noble County to Charles and Beulah (Emmitt) Moser.

On September 11, 1954 he married Donna M. Hagendorfer in Chicago, Illinois.

She survives along with a daughter, Becky Moser and a son, Edward (Rita) Moser, both of Millersburg; two grandchildren, Robert (Sheena) Moser and Madonia (Troy) Rogers; and five great-grandchildren, Bryson, Dane, Daxon, Annabelle and Gracie.

He is also survived by a sister, Ellen Rose of Orlando, Florida; and three brothers, Jack (Deanna) Moser of Goshen, Larry Moser of Tucson, Arizona and Eugene (Pat) Moser of Goshen.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Connors.

Mr. Moser served in the United States Air Force from 1952-55. After his service, he and his wife, Donna settled in Elkhart County. He served as a Benton Township volunteer fireman, as the Elkhart County Ag Society President, and served on the FHA Board. In 1967 he was voted Elkhart County Farmer of the Year.

Robert served as a church trustee for Zion Community Church, Millersburg, where he was a member.

Visitation will be Monday, October 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 7 p.m. funeral service with military honors will follow. Pastor Jeff Lewis will officiate.

A private burial at Brown Cemetery, Millersburg will be at a later date.
