Robert E. Lawton

Robert E. Lawton, Jr., 56, of Wakarusa, died Thursday, December 1, 2022 at his home.

He was born June 25, 1966 in Augusta, Georgia to Robert E. Lawton, Sr. and Rebecca Lynn (Burkhead) Weirick.

On April 19, 1986 he married Robin Putnam.

Robin survives along with three daughters, Tracy (David Rendon) Avalos of Elkhart, Rochelle (Timothy) Moles of Goshen and Rebecca (Robert) Berry of Allen, Texas; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a brother, Raymond (Dusti) Lawton of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Juan Avalos, Jr.

Robert enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family. He will be missed.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting his family with cremation. No services are scheduled at this time.
