Robert D. Lau, 60, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Hospice House of Fort Wayne.

He was born September 15, 1956 to Robert W. and Barbara A. (Johnson) Lau.

In 1978 he married Patricia Lynn Myers at First Presbyterian Church, Goshen.

She survives along with two children, Rob Lau of Dallas, Texas and Andrea (Daniel) Thurber; a granddaughter, Emma Lynn Thurber; two brothers, Bradley D. Lau and Brian D. (Joan) Lau and a sister-in-law, Casey Lau, all of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bruce A. Lau.

Bob was a 1975 graduate of Goshen High School. He held a degree in health administration and worked as an application support specialist since 2000.

Friends may call Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Shrock will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be given to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
