Robert L. Holderbaum

Robert “Bob” Holderbaum, 80, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday evening, September 12, 2023, at home.

He was born January 5, 1943 in Goshen to Milo and Vivian (Martin) Holderbaum.

On August 16, 2002, he married Deborah Sension in Colorado.

She survives along with his children, Brandi (John) Thornton of Fort Wayne, Margo Lewis of Lake City, Michigan and Leandrea (Shawn) Lange of Elkhart; stepdaughter, Hilary Sension of Waynesville, Missouri; 11 grandchildren’ three great-grandchildren and two siblings, Bonnie (Frank) Kahn of Leesburg and Jack (Evelyn) Holderbaum of Syracuse.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Andrea Stiles.

Bob retired from Church Plumbing and Heating.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.  Services will be held at a later date.
