Robert E. Hight

Robert E. Hight, 60, of Goshen, died late Tuesday night, January 29, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital. He was born on August 19, 1947 in Warsaw, Indiana, to the late Bud Hight and Loretta (Tood) Creakbaum of Goshen. A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Hight, married Diana Wagner in Goshen on September 1, 1976.  They were divorced in 1986.  A Goshen High School graduate, he had been a foundry worker for the former Dodge Manufacturing in Mishawaka. He is survived by his mother, Loretta Creakbaum; two daughters,  Lori Hight of Elkhart and Jennifer Colon of Edwardsburg, Michigan; a step-daughter, Tina (Randy) Alwine of Bristol,and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Hight and his step-father, Rex Creakbaum. Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, February 2, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor John Randolph of the People's Bible Church will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
