Robert A. Groh, 51, of Goshen, died Saturday morning, November 4, 2006, at Greencroft Healthcare. He had been ill since spring 2004. He was born on August 24, 1955 to the late Lewis and Gertrude Groh. On July 3, 1997, he married Gail Rice Morgan in Goshen. She survives. Mr. Groh, a 20 year resident of Goshen, worked as a supervisor for Lippert Components in Goshen until June 2006 when his illness forced him into disability. He served with the US Marine Corps from 1974 to 1976. He was a member of the Goshen DAV and the Goshen Moose Lodge. He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed skydiving, freshwater fishing, boating and camping. He is survived by his wife, Gail; three sons, Adam C. Morgan of Goshen, Indiana, Joshua Hughes, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Robbie Groh of Virginia; six daughters, Ashly A. Morgan, Joanna Groh, Heather Groh and April Garner, all of Goshen, Krista Hughes of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Amanda Groh of Virginia; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Fae Groh of Arizona. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Kae and Mae Groh. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
