Robert F. Dennis

Goshen – Robert F. Dennis, 86, of Goshen passed away Saturday, February 3 at home surrounded by family.

He was born August 8, 1937 in Central Lake, Michigan to William A. and Jennie Y. (Hoogewerf) Dennis.

On February 14, 1975 he married Gloria M. Archer in Goshen.

She survives along with four children, Rita (Michael) Culp of Goshen, Stacy Dennis of Elkhart, Jerry Cripe of New Paris and Gregory (Beth) Cripe of Bristol; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Anna Arnold of Manchester, Tennessee and Donna Paul of Wapakoneta, Ohio; and two brothers, Woody Dennis of Elkhart and Glen Dennis of Columbus, Ohio.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter and grandson, Debbie and Damion Jarausch; and four brothers, Donald, Marvin, Leslie and Kenny Dennis.

A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Dennis worked for Reith-Riley Construction for 30 years.

He was a life member of the Moose#836, DAV#15 and the VFW Auxiliary. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing cards and Dominos. Robert enjoyed time with his family especially around the holidays.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9, from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where an 11 a.m. Saturday funeral service will be conducted with military honors. Rev. John Randolph, People’s Bible Church will officiate.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the donor’s choice of charity.

Burial in New Paris Cemetery will be at a later date.
