Robert "Bob" W. Delagrange, 76, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Friday, June 12, 2015 at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born August 23, 1938 in Harlan to Julius and Marie (Miller) Delagrange. On February 17, 1990 he married Frances Staggs in Elkhart. She survives along with a daughter, Nicole (Josh) Baker, of Angola; two sons, Brett (Emelyn) Delagrange, of Ft. Lauderdale, and Tim Delagrange, of Chicago; five step-children; 35 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Lou (Ron) Collins, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Judy (Arlen) McKinley, of Harlan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two step-children. A U.S. Army veteran, Bob was a member of the D.A.V. and V.F.W. Post 985. He worked as a self-employed carpenter and attended the Community Church of Waterford. An avid musician, he enjoyed singing country music and playing guitar, and had the opportunity to open for Johnny Cash. Friends may call beginning at 7 p.m. prior to the 7:30 p.m. memorial service Thursday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Dr. Gregg Lanzen of First Baptist Church, Goshen, will officiate. According to his wishes cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Community Church of Waterford.
