Robert "Bob" D. Yoder

Robert D. "Bob" Yoder, 84 of New Port Richey, Florida, died  Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in Marliere Care Center in Port Richey. He was born November 2, 1922 in Ligonier, Indiana, to Niles P. and Lydia (Kropf) Yoder.  On May 8, 1953 he married Ruth Hilbish. She survives along with four daughters, Becky (Nelson) Benson of Jackson, Mississippi, Debbie (Ted) Ashley, Elkhart, Patty (Fred) Taylor, New Port Richey, Florida, Kay (Drew) Wilkerson, Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruch Schrock, Goshen He was preceded in death by one sister, Luella Lantz; and two brothers, Lawrence & Roy Yoder. Mr. Yoder was a 1940 graduate of Goshen High School; a member of the First Church of God, Goshen; and Gideons International.  He loved golfing and fishing. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2007 where services wil follow at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of God, Goshen.  Rev. Cliff Black and Rev. Drew Wilkerson will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Solomon Creek Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be given to Gideons International.
