Robert E. Anthony

Robert “Tony” E. Anthony, 74, of Bristol, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born in Troy, Ohio, on January 8, 1937, to the late Walter Jackson and Thelma Marie (Dohn) Anthony.  He married Donna M. Scholl on December 16, 1989.  She died November 17, 2010. He is survived by three step-children, Diana L. Kidd of Milford, Elizabeth J. (Duane) Miller of Goshen, and Michael (Donna) Brock of Niles, Michigan; 13granchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Harriet Marie Ischmael, Huber Heights, Ohio, and Joan Ganger and Walter Jackson Anthony, Jr., both of Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Anthony had worked at Reese-Cequent Towing, before retiring in 2009.  He had also worked as maintenance supervisor at Goshen College for 20 years.  He served with the US Marine Corps from 1954-56 and was stationed at MCS Barstow, California. Friends may call 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Yoder-Culp Crematory will handle the cremation for the family.
