Robert A. Jones, 62, passed away Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 in Bremen.
He was born December 2, 1963 in Bremen to John P. Jones, Sr. and Martha (Greene) Weaver. They preceded him in death along with a daughter, Desi Anne Kathryn Jones; and brothers, Rick Jones and James “Jim” Jones.
Survivors include daughters, Kami (Patrick) Gumz, Springfield, Illinois, Carlie (Kenyon) Scott, Bremen, Corinne (Ethan) Kertai, Lapaz; eight grandchildren; and two brothers, John (Peggy) Jones, and Joseph Jones, both of Bremen.
A 1982 graduate of Bremen High School, Robb owned and operated his own business, “Robb Jones Painting and Lawn Services”. He was an excellent handyman and this allowed him time to spend with his family.
He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame football fan. He was also famous in the Bremen area for making “Jones Jerky”. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball in Bremen for more than 20 years and was part of a men’s bowling league.
Robb enjoyed mushroom hunting and ice fishing. He didn’t have a serious bone in his body and loved to joke. He didn’t know a stranger and often made friends wherever he went. His daughters and grandkids were his entire world. He was very proud of his family and especially enjoyed watching them play sports.
A graveside burial will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Bremen Cemetery, beginning at 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow for those that are in attendance.
